Your Questions, Answered

How long does a spray tan last?

A spray tan typically lasts 7–10 days, depending on your skin type, how well you prep beforehand, and how you care for it afterward. Moisturizing daily, avoiding long baths, and patting dry instead of rubbing will all help extend the life of your tan. As it fades, it does so evenly and naturally.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

For the best results, exfoliate your skin thoroughly the night before or morning of your appointment using an oil-free scrub. Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior. On the day of your tan, avoid applying any lotions, deodorant, perfume, or makeup, as these can create barriers that lead to uneven color. Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to your session.

Is the solution safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! We use premium, organic spray tan solutions that are free from parabens, sulfates, and harsh chemicals. Our formulas are designed to be gentle on all skin types, including sensitive skin. The active ingredient, DHA (dihydroxyacetone), is derived from sugar cane and is FDA-approved for external cosmetic use. If you have specific skin concerns or allergies, let us know before your appointment.

What if it rains after my tan?

We recommend keeping your tan completely dry for at least 8–10 hours after application to allow the color to fully develop. If you know rain is in the forecast, plan accordingly with loose, long-sleeved clothing and an umbrella. A few drops won't ruin your tan, but prolonged moisture before development is complete can cause streaking or uneven fading.

Do you travel to my area?

We primarily serve Harford County, MD, and surrounding areas including Bel Air, Aberdeen, Fallston, Forest Hill, Jarrettsville, and Edgewood. We may also travel to parts of Baltimore County and Cecil County depending on availability. If you're unsure whether you're in our service area, just reach out and we'll let you know!

What's the difference between studio and mobile service?

With our mobile service, we bring the full spray tanning experience directly to your home, office, or event venue. We arrive with a professional pop-up tent, extraction fan, and all supplies needed. You get the same premium, professional-grade tan you'd receive in a studio, but with the convenience and privacy of your own space. No driving, no waiting rooms — just your glow, on your schedule.

Can I tan while pregnant?

While our organic spray tan solutions are applied externally and DHA does not penetrate beyond the outer layer of skin, we recommend consulting with your OB-GYN or healthcare provider before scheduling a spray tan during pregnancy. Many of our clients do continue tanning while pregnant with their doctor's approval, and we're happy to accommodate any special requests for comfort during the session.

How do I maintain my tan?

To get the longest life out of your spray tan, moisturize daily with an oil-free lotion (we recommend applying right after every shower while skin is still damp). Avoid chlorinated pools, hot tubs, and prolonged soaking in water. Use gentle, sulfate-free body wash. Skip exfoliating products until you're ready for your tan to fade. When your tan starts to naturally fade after 7–10 days, exfoliate evenly and book your next session!
